Did they already give you a price? I’m curious, as I wouldn’t mind getting an arb locker installed locally in the relatively near future.

Bayside said the skid plate bolt came out fine and threaded back in fine. o_O I guess we'll find out in 5k miles when they change my oil again. :(

Check it. They may have done the "jim the parts in the back, go swap it before this customer beats your ass for breaking his truck" deal

I pulled it out and saw the threads were trashed on the bolt. They said they pulled it and it went back in straight and tightened properly. Even the service person was suspect.... I've got 15k miles of free maintenance left. That means 3 more oil changes (I've been getting them every 5k) aka 3 more chances for them to break it more.

Or until it backs out and the skid plate starts rattling again....

@AR15xAR10 I don't know why I waited to long to get a foam cannon. This thing is sweet.

What soap are you using and did you mix it with hot water?

First I just tried some mothers wash/wax stuff, but it was too thick to get good suds. I then switched to chemical guys citrus wash, and it foamed like an SOB.

Yeah, I did 5oz soap and 10oz of warm water.

I highly recommend this for foam cannon use:

    http://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/carwashing/adam-s-ultra-foam-shampoo-16oz.html

As for general washing (can also use in foam cannon and will work very very well), this is the best car soap i have ever used:

Hot damn that's pricey! With our 3 cars I'd go through that quick. I'm gonna get this soon.

I bought the $15 one off Amazon, and it works well. My only gripe is that the black nozzle at the front that adjusts the spray pattern is too loose, and it just defaults to a jet stream. Not a big deal though, as I just hold it in place with my hand.
