    id really like to think that was a 2 1/2 year old deer, but unless he has been juicing I'm gonna say he was a 3 1/2. we just don't have those kinda genes 'round these parts. his body was way too big for a 2 yo; typically they will, at max, be 140 lb and as long as this deer was it wouldn't surprise me if he went 175+ (I would of believed 200+ after I drug him a couple hundred yards haha) I think that 4 point I shot right after thanks giving was a 2 yo and this guy was an older bro to that guy. if by some miracle he was 2, then maybe he passed some good stuff on to 2 or 3 does over those years but I can't see it based on prior experience. also deer around here never get out to their ears before 3 years. 13.5 is about the max I have ever seen on a 2 yo and I've got several of them in the garage, but I guess there is a first time for everything

    I liked my 2000 front end better than the 01-04 one.

    I think it is just the bumper that makes it look dumb. put the 01-04 bumper on the front or an offroad one and it looks great! However I found that out after I did my conversion - could've just changed the bumper!

    Updating my build thread and found og picture of truck. Maybe I am glad I did the conversion

    Yeah it's definitely because the plastic bumper and the dull head lights. I swapped bumpers and bought some clear headlights and painted the grill. Made the truck look brand new

    Excuse the potato phone quality lol and the missing FJ wheels. Only pics I have that align so well for comparison of front ends.

    I changed my headlights out to clear also. Best thing I ever did.

    I actually changed them right after the truck got repaired from hitting a deer so one of my original sets out in the shed is a brand new one. Yes, I still have my first gen headlights.

    I knew it wasn't younger than 2, or older than 4.
    Our 3 year olds are usually anywhere from basket racks to definite shooters with points ranging from 4 to 12+ in non-typicals. Just depends on the genes and their diet.

    I'm not going to hunt at all this year. Sucks, but I'm not gonna eat tainted meat or even risk it. I'll let the sick ones die and hopefully the ones that are immune are larger bodied and heavy racked.
    Next season...:infantry::hungry:
