Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

I don't get the small band of Garbage people. Get rid of them.

 

I don't get how they operated outside of Negan's control yet he had enough sway to turn them against Alex/Hill/King. With what?

Such a massive departure from the comic storyline seems weird , reading Chandler Riggs' interview he seems bitter and suggests Andy Lincoln is tired of the travel to the US for months to do the show each year , getting rid of Carl can be like a favourite athlete getting traded from a team and the rest of the team is bitter at the management

 

I kind of wanted him to become a Snake Plissken kind of dude but he went all peace and love.

 

Lame- Rick missing his chance again to smash Negans head open instead just gives him a love tap with the non business end of Lucile.

 

I noticed that too. I was wondering why he grabbed the barbed wire end and hit negan with the handle end.

 

yea once again just stringing the story along to who knows where. Just to many missed chances .

 

No shit? Well, that figures I guess.

 

I was not expecting Carl to get killed off, kinda figured the show was gonna end with him being the only survivor.

 

He and Negans friendship will never happen... obviously.

 

just finished this latest episode.....called it for Carl in the first 10 min.
Carl has been a useless character for the last season+

i just can't get excited to watch it any more. you already know that they will drag out any and all encounters with Negan until the season finale.
...so what are we going to see?!? "you're in deep shit" "hey asshole" "i'm gunna kill you" "stop being a dick" "look at the balls on you!"

the only thing that would be so out of place to the "TV" Rick Grimes, would be that he doesn't kill Negan in the end.
Rick has "had enough killing" and puts him in a basement prison (ref comic)........where.....you know the rest (next season)

 

What got me was the precise air strikes from the Saviors, pin pointing every house in Alexandria. Or did they set up C4? Or was that self inflicted by the Alexandrians????

Then Maggie and Jesus in their convoy, just sitting like good kids when they see another convoy rolling up? Wouldn't survival tactics dictate for Maggie to announce for them to leave into the forest, fan out and take out the enemy?

Anyway, glad Carl is done. People wanted him gone a long time ago and now here we are. I do like that Dwight has made his decision to join Rick's group though. I am guessing he will fill in a lot of the comic storylines that involved Carl on the show.

 

I agree but what I saw in that scene was the rear vehicles in the convoy had already been taken by the saviors and an attempt to flee would have resulted in being gunned down. However, I do recognize that this may simply be a justification for poor tactical response? Who knows.

The episode was pretty good but I’m not certain why they are keeping the garbage people storyline going. They must have some profound impact on the storyline down the road.

I hope that Neegan gets Rick cornered and zombie Coral bites Neegan’s face off. Best departure from the show in my opinion.

 

I just hope it's not another hide under the dumpster fake out death. Also this sorta break from the comics is huge and I hope they just cut ties and do their own thing. This careless touch and go leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

 

I wonder if the house strikes destroyed the jail cell?

 

Chandler's twitter is pretty convincing he's done. When Steven (Glen) was killed off, he deleted everything pertaining to the show. So I don't know. It seems unlikely to me that CORAL is a goner. Maybe he will find Jim and join him.

 

Carl and Jim and going to have their own spin off show. The Unwanted Dead.
