    Any good folks in the Chico area willing to help a poor newb install suspension on an 01 Taco...??? Getting quotes up to $700 just for the install... Its killing me looking at all the parts just sitting there on the floor... Im sure i can do the work myself just looking for a little knowledge and guidance... Dont want my wheels falling off on the highway... I know its a long shot but what have i got to lose, except 700 bucks..?? Will supply beer.. food.. dancing girls...

    Who has a Factor 55 fairlead? See how the anodizing is getting scraped up around the bolts? They are standard 1/2" bolts but a 3/4" socket will not seat because it hits the curved sides of the fairlead. How the hell am i supposed to tighten this down if the socket does not fit in the hole? Thin walled socket or something? what the hell? sorry for all the questions.

    Uhhh....you used metric bolts.
    Grade 8 SAE bolt heads work fine with a regular socket.
