Seems that the management of this shopping center decided to sealcoat two of the three entrances to their parking lot, so I had to turn around in the parking lot of another adjacent shopping center...

And cue the Jeopardy theme song...

Let's try the next entrance (At this point I didn't know it was blocked off as well)...

Let's try this again...

Obviously, the parking lot was quite full, so there were people patronizing the shopping center. Therefore they can't block all the entrances, can they?!?!



Here we go again...

If there is one thing I cannot stand about shopping center parking lots, it's the endless line of stop signs and crosswalks every ten feet or so. Figured I cheat and cut across the other side of the parking lot...

FYI, I normally only use the "far" side entrance I ended up using on this trip to go to Acme. On this trip, I was going to Staples, which was closest to the first entrance I used...

I ended up having to use the same part of the parking lot I was trying so desperately to avoid!

You might notice that the guy in the silver Volvo on my left has all of his windows down. A check of weather.com shows that high for Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 was 79°F. On a day like that I definitely would have been using the A/C, but depending on the humidity, I may or may not have had the windows down too...

Had to make another trip to that shopping center, but it was to the supermarket this time, so the blocked entrances weren't a problem...

That parking lot is still a pain in the ass though!

Took my 09 double cab in today said I needed new frame. Gave me a 2017 double cab rental and said it would be 6-8 months tell frame came in and I could keep the rental tell then. Anyone getting a buyout like they did with previous frame recall?

 

It seems like everyone is getting a Taco or a 4Runner as a free loaner...

All I got was a damn Corolla!

I guess you have to actually have your frame replaced to get a similar vehicle?

I said it was my dream truck as in right now I could only afford in my dreams, and the only reason I'd buy another Tacoma is if something happened to the one I've got. I could not afford to buy a 3rd gen. My dad bought me my RC as a present when I got my learner's permit. It's paid for, I've got a clear title in my name, and there's nothing wrong with it.
