What do you mean by "correction"?
If you mean the standard definition of market correction, then the answer to your question should be unknown but the answer would be worth millions.

Should've trust my gut lol beginning of November I was going to put a significant amount of money down but I was having troubles verifying my bank so I said F' it I'll focus on one project/investment at a time. Now I'm kicking myself for it lol. Lesson learned.

Well one another note...Im up and running on two gpus for mining now :) Dont mind the dirty desk or lack of organization lol. The desk is going to the dump and a mining open air setup is to be built. I just got the card in today and had ~30 minutes to get it up and running before leaving the house.....also hoping to ~23 hours of run time since thats the next time ill be home.

Its nothing fancy and mostly a converted gaming pc that i havent used since fallout 4....

    R9 290 Vapor-X
RX470 (the new card as of today)
    I5- 4660k
    TB85 motherboard.
    Thermaltake 750 gold psu

Definitely NOT anything fancy. But im only into it ~350 bucks as of right now. (needed new mobo and the other gpu) but that initial money will be paid back pretty quick. Im probably going ot expand a bit more but Im only going to do it via selling crap i dont need around the house and reinvesting that money. Outside of electricity I dont plan to go into "debt" at all unless there is a screaming deal on something

Neither. Right now its doing Monero. With just the R9 290 card that was the most profitable. With multiple cards now i might switch it up but we will see. Both monero and ethereum are close I might also try something else which should be even more profitable...but would be one id have to trade often.

Bitcoin is pretty much pointless for the average guy to mine. Litecoin is up there too it seems like as it almost never gets mentioned for mining.

Im actually surprised how simple it was to get up and running. For a basic setup it was only a few hours of research.....alot of which just being which wallet ot use. The actual setting up the miner was pretty straight forward. Of course I havent gotten into tweaking the settings on the cards or anything along those lines yet.

What software did you end up using for mining? I have a gaming rig with an overclocked 4690k and a 4gb version of an R9 270x that from what I can tell would do decently mining coins designed to NOT be mined by ASIC machines.

Did you place an order and it just never got there?
I recently placed a sell order for 280 thinking that if it fills, I'll place a buy order for 265 immediately

Honestly rooting for you on iota, I think I've got about 50 bucks in it. But all I can say is you've got way bigger balls than me on that coin. Hope you hit it big tho!!

Can you have a buy and sell order open at the same time?
I had an ltc sell order for 280 and I sold my bitcoin and placed a buy order for 250.
Ltc bounced off 245 without my order filling.
I couldnt cancel the buy order.
I cancelled the sell order, ltc briefly hit 250 and my buy order filled.

Absolutely if you have the coins to cover them both. Dont think you can have two orders on the same coins if that makes sense.
