    Venables has already been rumored for some pretty big head coaching gigs, I doubt he would make a lateral move like that when he could easily be a head coach at a smaller school.

    Speaking of Michigan, walked past a conversation at work Friday and couldn’t do anything but shake my head and laugh. A couple people I don’t know (we have a lot of temps and turnover) anyway, apparently one had said something about UGA and the other responded “shit, Michigan would kill Georgia”. Make it into the playoff and still don’t get respect. So much hate in our own state that many of y’all may not see or get. Damn I want this championship!

    I’m not sure it’s the same thing there though. Atlanta has a lot of transplants, along with the haters that doubt and will not pull for any Georgia based team. Not hard to blame them I guess with all the choke jobs and letdowns over the years. I just get tired of it all and we need a championship to quiet it down. Although even if we were to win it this year there will still be those that will say it was a fluke, luck, or whatever. It just sucks having so many haters here in our own backyard, and some of which are from here.

    Wasn’t meaning to bash Michigan so much, but beat the hell out of us is laughable imo. But it just shows how people around the country view us. That they don’t think we’re legit.

    I put up with Carolina fans daily...does that count? Their jealousy is unreal...they are floundering around in mediocrity and can't figure out what they're doing wrong and do nothing but shout about how Clemson is cheating and Bentley is the best QB in the SEC, no one on the Clemson team could start in the SEC, Dabo is a clown who can't coach, and there's no way we would beat them except by stealing signals and buying players

    We weren't supposed to beat ND or Louisville 2 years ago, we weren't supposed to beat Louisville, Ohio State or Bama last year, and we weren't supposed to beat Louisville, NC State or FSU this year...yet here we are with 3 losses in 3 years...our seniors will set an NCAA record for wins if they beat Bama, Dabo has 100 wins since 2008


    And somehow we're always the underdog, and we're constantly told that Clemson isn't gonna win, etc etc


    I get it...I really do....y'all put up with Richt like we put up with Bowden...they really brought the country's mindset about Clemson and Georgia to where there's basically little respect

    Ok I guess everyone has them. But we have them from so many fan bases around here. The ones I hate the most are the bandwagons. Like this one guy at work for example. He’s against anything Georgia and he’s born and raised here. But he’ll jump on board whoever we’re playing and want to run off at the mouth. But if we beat that team and give him shit, then it all “oh they ain’t my team”. Of course he won’t give a team that he calls his so you can’t really give it back to him. And that’s the kind of “fans” I see so much of around our parts. It just gets old being such an international area plus the locals that hate on our own.
