    My wife and I watch the local news & weather in the morning for a few minutes while enjoying a cup of coffee and then while getting ready. We promptly turn off the TV the moment it hits 7am. Cannot stand Good Morning America with the ridiculous overhype lead-ins they do these days.

    Come to think of it, if we're watching the evening news we also promptly switch away from the ABC national stuff for the same reasons.

    most of the "news" channels around here are in Spokane which is going more and more left....Idaho has one station close by which isnt as blatantly left that I can tell. Mostly I watch for weather which isnt really accurate...just gives an "idea" of what the weather will be...they get it close to right most the time except snowfall amounts...

    I remember shoveling 3” of snow in Spokane 3 times...in 4” increments. How the fuck could it fall lightly on one side of town but Fairchild AFB got hammered? We were less than 15 miles from the TV station and 4 miles from the airport!

    I think thats an Air Force base curse...It would be pouring rain on flightline at Dyess and in town not 5 miles away it was bright and sunny! Plus it was at least 10 degrees colder in winter and 10degrees hotter in summer than what any station broadcast for the area;)
