Just heard on the news about another recall. Guess the frame might rust causing the spare tire to fall of in traffic!

Another reason not to drive a mini van

I'm not sure why this is toyotas fault, Just because the northern states use way too much salt on the roads... I think they have a dry road policy up here northern ny, Less than one day after a foot of snow the roads are dry.... WAY TOO MUCH SALT...

Isn't the cable rust through an any manufacturer problem?? I've seen it happen on Ford's, Chevy's, Nissan's, etc.

The only reason why Toyota is getting all the hit it because Toyota is known for their quality. One little slip up and all hell breaks loose.

Yeah seriously. No one cares about Ford and Chevy because they are American. Its so gay, I get the hits all the time in my classes.

I just tell them, At least I dont have to get a new transmission in 90K miles...
Care to elaborate?? And I know about all the TSBs, Recalls, etc. ;)

LOL.. if all the vehicle manufactures are doing similar recalls then you can say it's not toyota's fault.

Since that's not the case then obviously Toyota is using parts below industry par, which is why we have the recall today.

Would the fanbois please point out current examples of excessive frame corrosion on other vehicle brands causing a safety risk that is not being recalled?
