Copper was always a PITA had to dig out the fox and hound etc. Fiber though we just get the FNG and have him hold the ends of the cables up to his eyeballs one at a time. When he goes blind and yells out Found It! bingo you have the hot cable. Works every time. Well until you run out of new guys. Hmmm think I know why they don't let me in the data center anymore.

Had one as a loaner (leaf spring replacement) a couple months ago. Damn thing nearly drives itself.
And as a side note I had to remind the service writer that the loaner was free:crazy:

Yes and I had quoted and was replying to Chris about the Cajun's. Which is a slang of the word Acadians for those of French descent that lived in the Eastern Canadian Maritime Region before the Expulsion in the 1700's and where they came from. Although the Quebec French and Maritime French (AKA now Cajuns) were different they have more in common with each other than they do with the French in many ways.

Not all French descents were exported during the "le Grand Derangement" however. Some hid deep in the back bays and difficult to access areas and lived off the land. And legend has it this is where the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever had its beginnings. Like the guy in my avatar who has since passed over the rainbow bridge. Those in the Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia area perfected the breeding and it is considered the standard now for the Toller. Those in hiding used them for substance hunting of waterfowl.

My current guy is 3 and this weekend the breeder has talked me into showing him one more time. 2.5 hour drive each way and will get a hotel room and kind of blows my weekend. And if he does well then it means more showing and formal field trials etc. have mixed feelings about that. I am more a meat hunter and don't care for all the show stuff. But if it helps maintain breed standards and carry forward the history of the breed then I will do my part to help with that. Even if I don't want to LOL.

I was responsible for a few of these. Not the Xray one but the big one. one I could never get a water tight seal. I spend two to three weeks of my PM time on it. every time it was the same thing. after a long time I got it to seal. three months later the sandcrabs cut it out to lower a power supply of some machine two decks down. still brings a tear to my eye.
