Hey Craig, did you strap your bike down to the bed cleats that come with the truck? I will be hauling my 07 cbr600rr with me if Ike comes this way, and i wasnt sure if they could take the pressure. Did you put some plywood down to distribute the weight? Thanks and Welcome to TW!!!

Yeah I just used those slidable things on the top of the bed. I hauled it for hours and hours like that. It was fine. What I eventually did, after I sold the bike...is I got some "L" brackets with two holes in it (one on each side), and removed the front two bed bolts and bolted the new L brackets up there. I did that when I was hauling a JOBOX tool box for work to Maryland. Now those things are AWESOME. I work with stainless steel every day as we make machines for the food processing industry, so I used some brackets that we had in stock. Let me know if you want a set. The torx bolt that holds that box down is something massive like a T65 or something. I used my impact gun and popped them out real easy and bolts the brackets in.

    Cheers

I am in love with your avatar.

So is there a meet for this board like there was for the other one? We'll have to RIP that one up too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm over due for a good Tacoma meet/party. I wave at every other Tacoma that I see in my town. London Ontario is so conservative, and my truck is so NOT conservative. Everyone around here calls me a red-neck. I can't wait to meet more Tacoma enthusiasts and get drunk again for an entire weekend. Last time, I drove 12 hours there, then didn't drive again until the 12 hours home. I was drunk from the time we got out of the truck, til the time we left. Such a good time.....
