    Well I was offered 18k for my truck this weekend. If the land cruiser importers find me nice clean rust free 79 series 2 door diesel with a nice steel bed.....i may let her go.

    Well I doubt the aluminum bed will be happening. The size I want isn't offered for the tacoma, and the size that is offered for the tacoma is over 3 grand. So back to building a bed. But, even though those beds look bad a**,I am not that disappointed. I think I can get the weight down to 300, only 50 lbs more than the aluminum bed. Then when I need sides, i can just make some with 1 inch and expanded metal that slips into pockets on the 2 inch tubing on the side.
