The guy that hit me said he fell asleep, but he was obviously texting. Two days ago I installed my Clazzio seat covers that I waited 4 months for.

He broke my axle, both doors are damaged, the front bumper and fender are damaged. The police damaged the rear bumper by pushing it off the road, and the tow truck driver blew the driver side tire out.

Sucks to see. Here in Texas if you fall asleep they give you a DUI.

Same thing happened to me but I got a fender bender. Only 2000 miles but it was only a scratch. Luckily my hitch saved me this time. 20171211_153607.jpg 20171212_165234.jpg

Probably because of all the fires happening in Cali, I assume... never mind it's like an airbase or something in the background

Just amazing - hope everyone is OK - your truck looks amazing and the clean shows pride in ownership! I hear at work when people talk about accidents and they say 'these cars need to drive themselves' makes me cringe to hear but the more I see the senseless accidents and pure lack of who cares-- they maybe onto something. - it's the ole kid at school was chewing gum and now the rest of the class lost that right.

Sister sent me this picture from sunny and clear naples florida! How did they manage this?? wheels up?? oy vey!

Sorry about that- get a copy of the report when it comes out, they will probably cite the other driver by mail for unsafe maneuver (CVC 22107) or something like that. Good luck!

OP is most likely a marine? Wouldn't be an uncommon site near a marine base.

I used to see A10s everyday at Ft. Bragg and all sorts of rotary and fixed wing at Ft. Lewis.

Damn man. More importantly, glad you're okay.

Wonder if the insurance will total it or try to repair it...

I’d be shocked if this was a total. No airbag deployment, unlikely frame damage, relatively minor body damage.
