I wish man, they were some big trees, would’ve saved me $1800

 

in a miraculous display of luck i did not have to move the brackets on the RTT. new ladder just plugged right in. i'm digging it. total cost $70. a mod?

 

I don't eat any fresh water fish. I just use fishing for an excuse to get out and hang out and occasionally drink a few.

 

This guy knows how to Christmas...

 

I probably could/should have searched around for a bit, but what's the reason for the new ladder/mod?
My RTT is supposed to be delivered tomorrow (we'll see about that), and I've never owned one before; are there any suggestions for a newbie?

I know how this feels. Wife and I were excited about having 10+ trees on our small lot. Then we realized that all 9 of our liquid ambers are fucking terrible for the house and have to be removed at ~1k each.

That said, anyone know a good tree guy? I have two quotes already, just waiting as long as I can to pull the trigger.

 

My house is decked out with Sonos because my wife’s company sells them. I have a playbar, sub and several of each 1, 3, and 5s. We absolutely love them.

 

I'm stocking up before the new year regs go into place and make it a hassle to buy, just a little fyi for you all

 

Yeah I hear you, they were nice at first but then they started dumping pine needles all over everything and covering the cars in sap. Then we found out they were infested with bark beetles.

Plus now with them being removed our Solar panels get more sunlight during the day.

 

I have 2-3 monsterous leaf piles per season, and after the leaves fall they drop spikes balls. Fortunately there is very little sap. The 3 in my front yard don’t shade the house and the other 6 don’t shade the house any more than the other trees around them. Most of the are too close to the house... no idea why the previous owner planted them.

I'm surrounded by oaks, evergreens, and random trees of all sorts!

















The pine-needles are horrendous in the gutters/downspouts, and those oak leaves take forever to decompose.

Christmas came early for me!!!!!! My girlfriend got me some new wheels....woot!!!! Can't wait to get them mounted....thanks again to vin @SCSPerformance for the easy and smooth transaction!!!

 

Trees or not, I'd love to have a piece of property like that.

 

on the sliding ladder the locking tabs were always stuck open or closed when i didn't want them to be. i had CVT do the initial tent install and the holes to lock the ladder were not drilled in good spots which led to awkward setups. i probably could have spent more time fine tuning the slider but i am content to talk shit about it. i can already tell the telescoping version is going to suit me better.

 

i need to get one of those gfs.

 

I'm guessing you'll be mounting more than those wheels.

 

oh, it took some time...
Foreclosed just over 10 years ago, and had to rebuild everything.
Finally got a nice chunk of land that I can call my own, but had to head up the hill to be able to afford it and all the amenities.
Now I have a 50 mile (roundtrip) commute, and my wife's is just over 70, but when we get to our chunk of the mountain, it's all worth it.

 

hmmm, ok.
I've read/seen people talk about drilling new holes to have their ladders stop at custom lengths, but I'm not sure where I'll want mine yet.
I actually just got the call a few minutes ago to confirm the delivery appointment for tomorrow.
