Nope, just priced it out with the anodized bars at $595. Looks like the 1x1 crossbar is what bumps it up to $625.

Either way it's not a good deal, but I know someone will scoop it up.

Has anyone done anything to mount items off the sides? For say, recovery boards? Would be nice to free up a bit more real estate on the surface.

@TacoZim very nicely done done. I think that I’m going to have to cut off the wires and do something very similar. I have a whole roll with of heat shrink tubing so I can make it work. Just got a light switch from CaliRaised but it is not going to work as with most things my truck is a 6 spd MT and there are so many differences that the auto. Did you use a add-a-circuit for your light bar?

Whats the difference with the switch?

I have all of my electrical stuff hooked to a Blue Seas fuse panel and SPod. All of my relays are mounted underneath the DIY mount for it.

I’ve got a 2015 tacoma DCLB that I’m trying to build a bed rack for and I’m hoping to match it to the same height as the cabrac (which I’m planning on buying in the near future). On the first page of the thread it links you to the following dimensions:

(At the fin, centerline of the roof, the top of the crossbar is 3.25" from the roof of my truck.)

    With that said, one question-

    1) Where by the fin was that measurement taken, front or rear as my roof slopes in that distance??? If anyone could jump on their truck real quick and pull a quick measurement that would be appreciated.

Just ordered my cabrac today. Looking forward to it. Anyone know offhand of people that installed reverse lights off the back of it?

I’ll probably use them...but I did purchase because they were black and I didn’t want orange on my truck.

I believe I put some silicone in the channel there and then pressed the heat shrink in the groove and its held ever since. Still have to figure out how to attach the new set of wires I've ran cause just having it pulled tight over the top of the old ones doesn't keep it from blowing around in the wind lol. Probably more silicone to the rescue.
