Do you use it for storage or for the occasional passenger? What do you keep in the storage areas under the seats? Any creative ideas to utilize the space?

I just got mine so it’s pretty bare at the moment. I just have the jack and a pair of jumper cables under the seat for now.

I use mine for tossing small items back there and the occasional (small) passenger. I plan on building a platform out of plywood with some carpet on it to go across the whole area to make it easier to haul things back there. I want to leave the seats in and make the platform easily removable, so I can pull it out and toss it in the bed if someone needs to ride back there.

usually keep my bows and pack behind the seat, gym bag. Haven't made any modifications other than a bowholder hangs behind passenger seat.

I've got a dog platform on one side, and a Rubbermaid bin full of random stuff on the other side.

I did notice that when you put the seats forward to get into the back and then push them back, the position that the seat goes to isn’t that bad for front passenger and a decent amount of space for the rear. I’m 6’,0” and tried it out and it’s not bad at all as far as leg room. You just have to make sure the person up front doesn’t get too greedy. It’s the 90 degree seat back that’s the real killer.

    Hahah they must love that.:goingcrazy:

    I keep my,

    Recovery gear bag
    Axe
    Hatchet
    Hand saw
Large 3 foot screw driver that is also a able to be hammered on the back as a spike

Under the driver side rear passenger seat is my roll up tool bag with muh tools in it
Under passenger side rear passenger seat is my folding military shovel / pick

    2 Blankets
1 dog mat on top of the blankets.

    5 ratchet straps

2 bug shirts (Required wheeling gear a lot of the summer where I live, if you ever want to step out of the truck.)

2 sets of light leather gloves for summer
2 sets of heavier leather gloves with pile lining for winter

It all fits pretty good, but no one ever gets in the back of my truck. I removed the rear head rests as well.

Passenger side is full of reusable shopping bags and other random stuff piled on top of a portable compressor. Driver side is kept free to carry my computer bag during the week, and whatever pack we might need for hiking, biking, picnicking, etc on days off. I keep ratchet straps, bungee cords, a long cable for locking up the bikes or whatever else is in the bed when necessary, and a couple of Bolt-locks already keyed to the ignition key in the DS compartment. I also have some jumper cables shoved in there. I keep spare jackets for the wife and I hanging from each of the hooks, and fold the seat bottom up to trap the bottom of the jackets and keep them from blowing around.

I recently ordered a Reference 450Q System from OEM+ Audio, so the middle console will soon be replaced with an enclosed sub.

Never any passengers. I use mine for my computer bag going back and forth to work. Also groceries, misc stuff.
I went with the AC because I needed the longer bed.

Built a storage/dog platform for the back. Love it. Hate people anyway so now nobody can ride back there.

Ah that one is great. And cute pup! I like the head rest and what appears to be a better back support in the 11-15’s

I never put passengers back there and want to build a dog/equipment platform. My problem is I have the flux capacitor so is kind of vulnerable to scratching up.
