go with the a 265/75 if not the 255. I think 285s are so huge for a tacoma. just my thought though.

I run heavy E rated 285s and haven't noticed much of a difference. The 4.0 handles it great

AT. All I really tow is a decent sized utility trailer.

I’ve got 285 AT’s on my truck and I personally love the look of them. I haven’t noticed any issues yet, but I don’t tow anything at all. Haven’t even gotten more than a couple hundred miles on them yet though, so i can’t really speak as to the difference in weight when it comes to MPGs yet.

These are 285/75/16. I don't think they are too big, I think they are just right.

@growyourmind86 I took my battery out of my truck and its been sitting in my garage for 4 or 5 months. Ill test it tomorrow and if its any good, you can have it for free dude. There was nothing wrong with it when I took it out.

How do you test? I was going to try and get the dealer and test mine. I am going to see if my truck starts in the am. I know the battery is charging, just do not know how well. I let it sit all day yesterday so not sure the day to the next day. If it does not start in the cold tomorrow then its shit.

As long as you dont need them on the spot then any time during business hours is just fine Keith. Or IIRC you said it was 1.75" so we usually have that die in, as long as we're not on a tight schedule we could probably do them on the spot if we know you're coming :)

Does anyone know if +2” LT axles (pre assembled) are available anywhere? Just a single one preferred.

Not that I've seen. You blow one or tear a boot up? Or just looking for a spare?

@growyourmind86 the battery is testing at 12.6v. It’s good if you want it
