Ended up replacing my Opt7 fluxbeam X with Hikari LEd off Amazon. Almost half the price and brighter. Very happy.

Do not adjust your height. What you're noticing is bright light, but disbursed improperly within the housing which means you have an even distribution instead of a focused beam down the road as you should have. This is well noted for many running LED's, suffering from poor throw. Upping the headlights will just blind people.

What you should be doing is throwing out these trash bulbs and going with a better LED bulb like the supernova's or even better, an HID setup.

I talked to one guy from Opt7online in their chat. He said the Flux beam X causes the HD signals to drop and he recommends just the regular Flux beam.

If you can hear it over the engine and inside the vehicle then something is wrong. I couldn't hear mine inside the cabin even with the engine off.

I ear a kind of vibration when the little fan is running, like if the led fitting was not quite tight enought. The vibration goes down when i move it and press on it a little.

    Just on the driver side.

One side of the LED bulb has burned out in 14 months. They have a 2 yr warranty. I have contacted them via Amazon - Lets see how they handle it.

Copying this post from the other thread:
Alright, I know this is an old thread but after a year and a half of using the Opt7 head lights they took a shit on me at a bad time. I was in the on the far east end of Utah leaving Moab for Phoenix at 4 AM and while driving I noticed a quick flicker of my low beams and they dimmed severely. If I turned my fog lights off, I couldn't see anything but it was obvious the lights were still on standing outside the vehicle. Because I was on a time limit and had the same bulbs in my high beams I swapped the two and everything was fine for the rest of the trip.

I have used these bulbs for a year and a half and and due to the nature of my job, about half my driving is in the dark.Truck has 24k on the clock so I had thelights in for probably 18k miles. Idecided to swap them out for my RSIsfinally and I'll give a review of them but it appears the metal piece between the carterminal and light is what took a shit for some reason. This was only on thedriver side but for some reason bothdriver and passenger light dimmed.

My driver side just went out after 1 1/2 years on my 2016 SR-5, don`t know if I want to go with them again, may go back to stock. Anybody know of a better replacement in LED?

I had my driver side go out as well. I'm using the RSI bulbs now and so far so good. I believe their from a TW member too.

I just installed the Hikari H11 5000K in my 2017 TRD Sport. They are super quiet. Did not know the fans were running until I looked inside the headlight area. I will be out driving around tonight. Want to see their performance in white light. If I like, I will keep for $70 on Amazon. Then time will tell on their long term performance.

Your Opt 7s? I just had one burn out but thought I read somewhere that they only cover them a year.

These babies are on sale for $64 a pair up until December 21. Considering ordering a bunch now that I went back to a 2nd gen.

Also! Has anyone tried the FluxBeam X?
Supposed to be the better and brighter version of these? Any thoughts or feedback?

ALSO USE THE CODE TACO15 for 15% off your purchase at the OPT7 store.
