You're a smart man. I've been trying to convince the wife to get out of our house and do that with me.

I have a friend who sold his house, quit his job, bought a Chevy Astro Van, fixed it up into a mini-rv and traveled the US in it with his wife. I think they did it for a good 3-4 months before coming back home. It was badass.

They also have those tiny houses at Home Depot for like $5k.

I think those are just sheds, lol

Anyone have a good alignment shop in Atlanta? I know some have posted a while back but i think those were our in kennesaw or douglasville and such. Would rather not travel that far. My drivers side front is toed in and getting more noticeable, enough to make me finally address it and just hope it hasn't worn my tire too bad.

Just get a Firestone lifetime alignment. After you get your second alignment it's basically paid for itself. If you don't like the alignment go to a different Firestone or go back until they get it right. Tires Plus also accepts Firestone thing too. It's nice never having to pay for an alignment on my rig again

So kinda stupid question, but how often do you guys get alignments..? I don't recall having mine done hardly ever. My tires have always worn even so I never felt the need to go. Granted, unlike y'all, I'm mechanically stock.

Only when you feel it's needed. If you let go of the wheel (safely) and if it drives pretty straight for a few seconds you're fine. If it immediately goes to one side or the other go get an alignment.

Also if you do any suspension work or get new tires go ahead and snag an alignment

Yeah, I've done the steering wheel thing a few times just to check my sanity. Though in AL and some places around here it's hard to find a reasonably level road anyway.

But yeah, I figured if/when I order suspension parts I'll go get it done. I'll probably hit you up to help with the install if you still don't mind by then.

Let me know when! Just make sure your bolts aren't rusted to the frame. That's one thing I'll never do again haha

Sweet! That's a pretty good deal

Interesting...may have to look into this now.

The closest Firestone is about 30 min from me, but there's a Tires Plus in town.
