Factory grab bar mounts with 5mm bolts iirc. Molle panel has a spacer being it. Factory bolt + panel thickness + spacer thickness= bolt needed to bolt grab handle back on

A paracord would be a solution as far as maintaining a grab handle there

but I was more focused on the edges exposed and possibly smacking your head up there

here is a picture of the factory one, no sharp edges, sure you can still smack your head up there, but no sharp edges...

hmm in the seller/makers post #139 he showed pop rivets, but maybe that was only for the 3rd gen I am not positive. but yea like you said just a matter of getting the correct length to make the handle go back on, though I would be a stickler for it not sitting flush :bananadead:
Yea as much as I really like the piece and the idea of molle bags with gear up there i.e. flash light fire extinguisher first aide paper towels (rifle though here in NY lol??) I think ultimately I have people traveling back there playing my role of ski taxi more often than not.

still might be worth it though it is a nice piece, I really dont like having to dick around pulling the seats forward to access certain pieces of gear every time

    I wish. This is NY.

CO said they will open the position in April 2018

    I couldn’t wait.

I need my mods now, not later.

Nice glad your happy with the final decision of a rear setup.

I wasn’t sure why you were going for extended shocks and relocation shock tower if you weren’t planning on hard wheeling. To each his own tho and even if you did go that route it’s your truck and your monies so just matters that your happy with it. I have the most bonkers rear setup but it’s amazing for my needs and glad I went the route that I did. It’s not for everyone and I wouldn’t push it as the best setup. It’s simply built for what the truck does.

You could make grab handles from 550 cord. That's my plan

I’m not getting anything now, but apparently bare metal is not an option. I wanted bare steel.

The list for steel is full right now. I don’t need it badly enough to wait on a possible second run list.
