    2008 Maroon Tacoma Double Cab
    Basani Cat Back from the factory.
    Great forum! I've been lurking here for a few years when I have questions about my truck. I've got an 08 double cab, 2wd., 4.0, auto, long bed, tow package, maroon, ordered with a Basani Cat Back, cab roof racks and headrest DVD players for the boys in the back seat. I immediately added a color matched Century cap with flip up side and rear glass & Thule sliding roof racks. Toyota, in its infinite wisdom, would not let me order a 4 ltr., auto, tow pkg., 2wd truck in the north. WTF? I ended up using my parents FL address to order the truck I wanted. With Blizzaks all around in the winter, 2wd has never been an issue with any truck I have ever owned.

    I finally joined while researching the dreaded fan blower only works on high issue. I can't believe there has been a TSB on this for years and I had to go to a members forum to find out about it. I gets me unglued when I can find information on a common issue that the local tech shop doesn't even know about (or didn't bother researching).

    Thanks for being here. This site is a gold mine of information.
