Looking to get an LED roof mount light bar. Need bar and brackets. Any recommendations? Any bad experiences? Models to avoid?

I’d personally avoid anything marketed as a flood pattern for a roof mounted bar. You will end up with hood glare with a flood for sure. And the glare might not look all bad when you test it out at first but in pitch black it severely cuts down on visibility to a point where plain headlights are better.

I just realized he has an access cab so no stock roof holes. I’d honestly skip the roof bar all together. Besides that people run them on soccer mom SUVs and minivans now.

Mostly two different kinds of brackets.
Roof mounted (need to drill into roof )
Door jam mounted. (Need to drill into door jam)

@CBI Offroad Fab @CaliRaisedLed @ragofabrication all make brackets.

    Lights depend on uses.
Really best answer is... Do a google search on led bars and you will make a much more informed purchase.
People have spent hours typing up all the different factors.. watts, types of led, types of housings ect...

you will learn much more researching

I have one on the roof rack and one in the lower valence. The bottom one is waaayyyyyy more useful. I rarely use the top one
