That sucks. Besides not getting a raise, your boss sounds like a tool. A real manager wouldn't have mentioned anyone else, even if he did consult with others. All he did by saying that was take a bit of any heat off his own head, and make you think that everyone is against you.

 

it was a meeting with my manager, 2nd in charge of company, and 3rd in charge of company. said no one has received raises this year, which i know is a straight up lie, as 2nd in charge got a $20k raise, and owner is taking home an extra $300k a year.
