Has anyone hade the problem of a loud clunk when turning on the A/C? It only seems to happen when you first start it and the engine is cold. Thanks for any help/advise.

I hear a buzzing sound when the AC is on coming from near the front passenger side. Is there anything or just normal?

It sounds like your blower motor is having trouble starting. It could be because it is going bad, or possibly because it has trash in it (leaves and whatnot). Remove your glove box, and behind there is the blower and cabin air filter access slot. I believe the bolts holding the blower in are 5.5 mm, but you should be able to clean out the blower assembly by just removing the filter.

I think what he is hearing is the A/C compressor clutch, mine is also pretty loud when you first turn it on, after its warm everything sounds normal.

I have the same sound with the A/C off and the recirculation button is on at the time of start up. If I shut off the recirculation part of the system and turn on the A/C then the recirculation part it dose not do it. Could it be a vacuum system issue with the recirculation door?
