Supposed to go on inside of the bed. I ended up cutting that lip off and made new tail light mounts so I could pull them off without removing everything and cause it looked like shit with the tailgate down and still didn't fit right. It takes some work but my gaps are perfect now. Never buying McNeil again

Not to sound weird, but can I sit in your seats? Want to see what they feel like.

Cab lines are alright. Lines near the bumper are off as well and have to force my stock bumper tight against the fiberglass. Thinking about just buying a set of ADV Bedsides

Damn, it seems like I'm not the only one. I'm not gonna cut up my truck even more just to fit fiberglass. At this point I spent too much time trying to make it line up right. Over it haha.

Yeah, that's what McNeil suggested as well. So I did that and although it did make the tail light portion sit closer, it then created a 2" gap where the end of the bed rails bolt to. Which would make it impossible to bolt back down.
That's awesome you found a remedy to fix it as I was looking at your truck and it lines up great. Stupid that we have to do so much work to make these look good. I'm probably going to just get new bedsides

That's unfortunate. Adv fiberglass(Glassworks) looks pretty promising.

I agree with the roadrunner stuff too, I have their fenders and hood. If you throw the stuff on fast then it seems to have decent fitment like the others. I was glad to see my McNeil bedsides worked out ok although the gaps above the taillights annoyed me until they got painted to where they arnt as noticeable now.

Im surprised they blocked you...glass can have a shitty pour or not meet customer standards. With my hood, I was the guinea pig where they realized that there was a difference in the 05-11 and 12-15 hoods. Because of this, I got a spare scooped hood with nothing to do with. They did send out another hood free of charge though.

Yea I remember seeing that version for the second gen. It def looks to be the most functional one out there by a long shot. There was this one thread where a member asked about its functionality on here about a year ago and man it turned into a golden shit show that is worth a read if you come across it.

I only look at it for
-weight savings (if only a bit)
-Removing the extra pieces on the hood cause it looks like crap and annoys me
-easier to wrap (my truck is wrapped)

Def worth a review if you do get it as Im sure many would consider it with more actual intel on it.

Hey, I have a quick question for you guys, So I'm taking my rear bypasses off tomorrow for a reseal would it be ok if I were to drive the truck without them? would the rear end be all over the place because I'm just going to be on the highway.
    Thanks

Your fine. I’ve done this plenty of times with different trucks. Just watch yourself as you change lanes and hit an expansion joint on the freeway.
