    I had an injury to my left quad that I refused to stop and let heal. Kept pushing myself and re-injuring it until I ended up with stress fractures in my hip and knee. The knee healed, but the hip turned into necrosis. I quote the surgeon when he said that is a very impressive case of arthritis you have. The x-rays are pretty :eek:. I keep them to remind myself not to be so stubborn.

    Nice, I graduated with my BSN last December. Been working nights on a cardiac telemetry floor for about 9 months now. I’m looking to go back to school to get my NP degree hopefully next August. I love cardiac stuff, but I don’t think the hospital is the right fit for me in the long haul. My dad was a CRNA, he retired about 2 years ago. Thought about that for a while, but I don’t have the grades for anesthesia school. Plus I like direct patient care. The OR is a whole different vibe... I dig it but I’m liking working bedside now and learning as much as I can. We’re still a medsurg floor even though we’re cardiac telemetry and now I’m a little more experienced I’m getting more medically complex patients and not just STEMIs going for a cath the next day, a fib on cardizem drip, etc etc
