Ha well yes, but seeing the first thing recommended was 5100s I doubt they can justify spending $990 on front coilovers alone. Of course they should but they need to get out first and try to make sure they actually want to go down that path

As far as suspension.. I think I bought thrice... Could've saved 50% of that money.

As far as the rest... I'm chalking that up as a learned the hard/expensive way about inexpensive/cheap electronics. :frusty:

There are a few rental programs out there.

Careful with Popgun pete, bit of a slimeball

    http://www.bajaracingadventures.com/#bajalite-class-7200-3000-mini-trophy-truck-race-rental-program

    Chevy power!

    http://www.trophylite.com/

Best overall bang for your buck if you can afford the $80-100K per race, But they always have a 100% finisher rate with their cars.

Wish I could have made the 50th this year but didn't work out. I will be racing NORRA in April this year with some friends.

I didn't realize you could rent vehicles as well!

Very interesting. I've wanted to get back into it, used to do autocross and would like to get into rallycross. But I didn't want to do that without having an actual garage.

But that'll hopefully be changing after I get some land.

I'm surprised Monster even gave the other energy drink sponsored trucks any airtime.

But they didn't include any of the 25ish other classes. Never enough time in a 15 minute YT video.

Dust 2 Glory is another good film.

The first questions you should always ask yourself are, "what do I want to get out of a suspension?" and "what is the vast majority of the driving I do?"

My personal philosophy is I drive on road about 99% of the time. And my days of hardcore wheeling are well behind me. However I do want a capable suspension and tire set up. I was also honest with myself that my stock Tacoma with 182,000 miles on the stock suspension got me everywhere I ever wanted to go off road.

So I didn't go overkill with the suspension and tires.

I also have to point out that I've always tried to find that balance of "not much more than stock" when it comes to everything.

Too often I see people on TW get caught up in the most popular and/or beefiest set ups for these rigs. Seeing others' set ups, who wheel the piss out of their trucks all the time, and then replicating it on their own truck... and never putting it to use or having a set up that doesn't suit the vast majority of their needs.

    Just my worthless two cents.
