I know, on paper 35% is illegal. But it matters what the meter reads it at. Best option would be to have the windows tinted after inspection so they have a year to be on there and lighten up a tad

 

35% is the legal limit. anything under that is illegal

 

i tint all of my cars 20%. i'm going to get the type r inspected before getting the tint on it so i have time to figure out what to do before the next inspection

 

That's why the name changed on that building in Westborough; I was thinking Genzyme had already left after only being there for a short while.

Called first thing this morning and they had already didnthe back 20 but told them to do the side windows 35, bit of a mix match oh well

 

wait your tinting the rear windows too?

 

MA is difficult with tint. NY just passed laws that the front side windows can't have any tint at all. (January 1st of 2017). It's ridiculous.

 

35% tint plus factory UV protection means illegal on paper. Mr. Tint won't let you pay for it unless you pay cash. Because it is technically illegal, like 31% like I also said, it depends where it meters at

I mean if the meter says 35% it’s legal. There is legal limit film to get you exactly 35. Most factory tints are between 93 and 97 %

 

Most places won't let you pay with card unless its 50%

really? i haven't had that issue up here
