I certainly don’t need 7 full meals lol. I downloaded it and started looking at it. I haven’t been using it...I’ve logged a few days worth of examples on a different counter, but I can’t see myself logging every meal

Had a rough past few days. Got a sinus infection last week and they gave me amoxicillin for it and the sides from the amoxicillin gave me bad stomach cramps and body aches and I couldn't poop for like a full day and a half (I usually poop at least 3 times a day). Yesterday, the only thing I ate was a sleeve of crackers and some other snacks. After we realized it was the amoxicillin causing all this, it took it a full 24 hrs for it to get out of my system. I woke up at 2 am this morning and finally felt back to normal, so I got up and had a protein shake and some waffles. Woke up again at 7am and took the most glorious shit of my life. Now, time for leg day!

Just do what I do: use MFP to get the diet dialed in and then eat the same meals everyday...no need to track that way.

    This.

If you try to count as you go you're going to end up being ready for bed and checking and seeing you still need to eat 800calories to hit your target. If I don't eat my set meals each day and try to wing it I miss my number 99% of the time.

Don’t waste time and money on a nutritionist. Especially if they OK “cheat meals”

When taking antibiotics try eating yogurt or cottage cheese. Also might want to grab a small pack of probiotics to take during and a bit after the antibiotics.

Also might want to try to lay off the poptarts if you don’t want your GI to hate you... jus sayin ;)

back when i used to diet i would plan out and add meals in MFP every morning. not necessarily the same foods every day but i had a staple meal (chicken and rice lolz or chipotle) and i always hit my macros.

I couldn't imagine trying to hit my macros every day by winging it. I do that occasionally on vacation or travelling and it's such a hassle. I'd much rather just eat the same 6 meals every day and not have to worry about it. The best part is that if you're not feeling a certain meal that day, you can just add up the calories you'd rather skip out on and fill it back in with something else. Like if we're going out to eat, I'll skip a meal and just order something that I think is similar in macros.

I've done my own tests on alcohol on my gainz and it has 0 affect on me. Now I don't drink a lot but I've gone sober for 3+mos at a time and seen no changes vs. when I drink when I wanna drink. No leaner, No stronger, No less-motivated :notsure:

I'm on team do whatever the fuck you want

I don't think alcohol helps you out any, but I don't think it really directly hinders you either. I think the only negatives would be that it's harder to train hungover and going over your allotted calories by drinking too much or doing something like eating Krystals drunk at 3 am.

You know how I used to party lol. I started working out at 20 while I was in college, so drinking was a big thing at least 2 days a week for me for the first 4-5 years of me lifting. After I graduated, I still partied hard on Saturday, but not quite as hard as I did while actually in college. Now that the wife is pregnant coupled with how easily I get hungover (4-5 beers does it for me), I only have 1 or 2 beers a month like if we go out to eat or if I'm watching football.

Like you, I haven't noticed much of a change at all...still fat and strong lol. I even drank on my cut for my wedding where I went from 200 to 180 a few years ago. It's all about calories in v. calories out.
