Hmm, that's interesting. Maybe the reason mine feel 'great' is because I was replacing the original oem bilsteins that had about 200k on them and were basically useless. But I've had them for 6 months now and I have no complaints :notsure: Or maybe you push your truck harder and expect more from it, I just DD mine and occasionally do mild off-roading.

Like everyone said, Kings would be what you want. But you really have to look into what you're doing with the truck and how much you want to spend/how much work you want to do. Like they said, $990 for the front, $800 for the rear shocks, then $500 for upper control arms, then decent leaf springs, etc, etc. Seems like a lot for a 'weekend trip once in a blue moon'. I can't speak to ride quality because I've actually never been in a truck that had kings, but at the time, I needed shocks asap, so I went with bilstein and got a lift while I was at it. 'No regerts'. I figure I'll get a few years out of them, and then I can revisit the idea of Kings.

We all 'want' King but like 1% of us really use them to their limit. Same with FOX (which I have in disclosure). But I said OME because of the caveat he added about not redoing. Even if you happen to get the spring rate right and valving right on the first try you're never not doing and redoing. There's at least periodic rebuilds. If you want to just bolt on and forget it's gotta be OME.

Atm 100% of my time is highway. This is my fault driver. I just got it 2 months ago do to a unfortunate event with my last vehical. But I have oversized tires on it atm and need to lift it 3 in so I have my slow hard turns and an occasional medium style Trail so crawling over a little bit of rocks stuff like that dips nothing too extreme cuz I want to keep it still in good condition without messing anything up too bad while on the trail

Lifting it 3" or more opens up a can of worms that I do not think you will want to deal with. Unless you go with an OME + body lift to clear the tires.

    What size are your tires?

You might consider moving down in size until you are ready to do the suspension. I've been running 31" tires since the day I bought the truck in 1999. And it's taken me on substantial trails in CO throughout its life.

How oversize are the tires? Madgick is right, once you go past 2.5" you'll need upper control arms, you'll have CV issues and driveline vibes and all that. If you wanna stay reasonable, just do OME/5100 and max the setting out, should give you about 2.5", then look into trimming or hammering stuff if you still are rubbing.

Not gonna lie, there are times I miss my Tundra. Giant comfy cruiser with a huge back seat. Only thing I didn't like was the bed bounce, specifically between Lone Tree and Castle Rock, that stretch of highway was evil.

You seem to be focused on the empty parking spot, not sure if that meets the criteria

You forgot to mention the one in Colorado. My wife offered for me to go do this for my birthday this year since im turning 40. But I said no. I want to build my truck instead.

I knew you'd figure it out, you just needed to take a walk on the wild side for a bit. I get it, sometimes a fat chick is just what ya need, but don't want everybody to know about it.
