    I'm pretty sure the steering rack mounts to that. So to move the x member, you'd also have to figure out new steering rack set up.

    Nah the steering rack is in the cradle behind it, that's just a tie in to connect the end of the frame horns.

    In that case, you just need a grinder w a cut off wheel, a piece of rectangular tube and a welder. I plan to move replace that x member up higher when I do my sas.
