What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I know this will probably make me sound like an idiot, but where I have a CAI do I still have one because I have looked everywhere and can't seem to spot it?

 

Only on 13 and up models if I remember correct

2005-2015 4 cyl all have them. For the 4.0 V6 2012-2015 is the only years that got them.

 

well, I guess whenever it warms up I could get a uni filter and do a diff breather mod

Any of you guys bother to oil your uni Filter? I've ran mine dry since I got it about 6 months ago. Doesn't seem necessary right?

 

I was hitting 15.5 this past summer. I've been shifting at higher rpms recently. Like 2700 instead of low 2s and it's made my mph increase which makes no sense to me.

 

Your engine isn't working as hard! I monitor my scanguage, and if I shift too low, my engine load is 70+%

 

I figured its something like that. I have my five year old ultra gauge sitting in my center console just waiting to be plugged in
