The truck is a dd, but usually camping on weekend. Hoping to hit the white rim trail this summer. But its about 1200 mile drive to get there. Mainly wanting a dual purpose truck. But when i go camping there is around 1000 lbs of weight added. Camping gear recovery gear.

Call kibbetech or TT Motorsports and ask them to give you a rough quote on front and rear suspension and if the price doesn't scare the shit out of you
    I'd say leap for it.

    I daily drive my truck
But I beat the shit out of it on and off road
But I'm also about to go to a full TT floater camburg rear end
    Cause I'm insane

What housing? 2.5 or 2.25 hubs? Might as well link it at the same time, you won't want to disgrace that pretty axle with leaf spring perches.

Thanks. Promise I won't fart. Its hard to buy seats without ever having sat in them to see how they feel.

I'm not sure yet as hubs are the only thing out of stock with them right now, I am not an expert so I am leaving a lot of the spec choices to people who understand it better than myself.

My rear end is shredding itself so I have to upgrade soon or I'll just have a super pretty broke truck in my driveway covered in snow

Dang man I didn't realize that you have the same TC SUA rear that I currently have. Are you gonna upgrade to links or stay with an SUA setup?

I've got archive garage shackles/hangers I'll be putting on and depending on how my travel looks after that I'll make the decision.
Links would be badass but a lot more work/maintenance than the leafsprings

Not to mention it's hard to financially justify links when you live here in Kentucky, and I don't drive to Michigan much so it would be more of a pleasure upgrade than a functional upgrade

Are the garage shackles and hangers made for LT? I feel you might be selling yourself short if you don't have the wider LT leaf geo yet you have the bed cage and triples. Im just waiting on my DMZ kit now.

For now, I'll be getting some decent numbers for travel but yeah I'll be "limited" to the articulation of the leaf springs and the bypasses only being 16"

I think the max I can get with the TC springs in the stock hanger locations is 12 inches with my shock relocation. You might be able to get close to 14 inches, but I wouldn't expect much more with that geo. Not sure how your rear end feels to your front, but mine feels like a rock compared to a 3.5 front. I will be glad to go full LT in the rear soon.

This is one of the reason why I lost most interest in my truck. The DMZ with 3.0 bypasses in the rear feels like a rock on the street so I ended up buying a daily driver car (another snow ball deal). I have re-valved the rear 3 times already and it improves every time in the desert but not on the street. I have thought about trading the 3.0s for 2.5s or removing leafs but I see more people adding leafs to DMZ packs rather than removing. Having driven a street legal 1450 truck on the streets a few times and racing the Geiser TT, I'm definitely glad I bought a 4-link for the truck I'm building next.

That's a bummer to hear that, I was referring to my TC mid travel SUA as to me it rides like a rock and just cant keep up when off-road. Im not expecting my truck to drive like a caddy when I swap out the rear, but should be a little better when off road.
