Morning humans!
A balmy -4 at the house this morning. Remote start FTW!

 

CT is half NYC wantabes!

 

CT isn't part of New England

 

Wish I had some better winter hours. I get out after sunset now, pretty dark by the time I get home

Neither am I, still up at 4:45

The unfortunate truth

 

Remote start is the single downfall of going with the 6MT compared to my old truck. I had the Viper Responder 2-way setup with like a 1/4 mile range. It was beautiful and glorious on cold days. If I did that now, I'd be sending my truck into my house, into the street, across parking lots (I leave my truck in gear). Luckily the seat heaters have a liquid magma setting that scalds you in 30 seconds so when you're waiting for the truck to defrost you aren't too cold.

 

Mmmmm... NO. NO NO NO.

I'll gladly break away if NE doesn't want us.

 

Same. Sun's not up yet when I get to work, and it's darkdarkdark when I get out in the evening.

 

I kid. A sports talk guy in MA goes off on rants once in awhile on that topic and it's hysterical. People from CT call in and go nuts.

 

That would be the trick, would be remembering to take the truck out of gear. I leave all of my manuals in gear when I park them, always have. It would be an almost impossible habit to break after all of this time, I think

 

I can't disagree with that.
Seems like my small circle of friends I grew up with and myself are some or the last remaining "natives' in this area.

Already planning an exit strategy when I retire.

I bet! I think Fairfield County, which is where I am, is probably not NE to be honest... since we're so close to the NY state line, we get all the NY locals, so we're more NYC than NE.

 

Oh yes. I start at 6 so I think its still and hour away from sunrise or so

 

Have been working on permitting a few grow facilities and recreational shops in my neck of the woods. A new medical dispensary in Leicester just opened up and they are ready to switch over to recreational once the date approaches. Gonna be pretty neat watching it all come together.

Having driven through Fairfield county a few times, it's definitely more NY than NE. Looked like a Suburb of the city, really.

 

it pretty much is. Danbury and surrounding areas are considered a suburb of the city. A lot of peeps live here and work down there.
