agreed, but when youre streaming or playing music its nice to think at least youre not draining battery life, just evening out.... or thats how ive justified it in my mind, cause youre right its so slow

There isn't any fast wireless charging. Qi is Qi, it's slow no matter what phone you put on it.

I have a fast and a slow wireless charger. Wife, daughter, and I carry Note 4's her boyfriend caries an S 8 and we all use wireless charging almost exclusively. The fast charger is most defiantly faster than the one that is not rated as fast. Almost because the truck Qi IS slow and does not play nice with my Otter Box case. Road trips get wired charging, home and office are wireless.

My point is @DeathsArrow is wrong all Qi charging is NOT equal.

Fake news? No. You may disagree. I am stating my experience not news and not fake.

That’s my perspective as well. If the battery isn’t losing any ground while streaming, then that’s a win. And I can always plug it into the USB if I truly need to charge it faster.

Also depends on the phone. My QI fast charging devices (2 amps) will charge my Galaxy S8+ from half to full in under 2 hours. And that's with a UAG case on the phone. The truck will attain eventually and then maintain a full batt when I am using it to stream Amazon Prime Music with the screen off. It's definitely not a "fast charge" system however. I also keep 2 amp usb cigarette light plugs in the truck for those times I am really low and want to be sure I get the max charge in the minimal amount of time.

The biggest downside to any QI pad, and the truck is the worst so far is the amount of heat they generate. Mine get's smokin' hot.

Thanks, I still have a unused flag for my nephews vehicle. He just joined. His dad is also BCPD. I am just a very fond and Fn proud supporter.

I can bring it to work and scan it in high resolution. Save it out to a JPEG.
