so quick question, I hear a few things here and there and I’m not fully clear. Can I have my credit ran more than once at a dealership within the same month without it affect my credit too much? I’ll be buying this month.

From what I understand it will not hurt. Multiple lookups for the same type of credit within a certain amount of time just means you are shopping around.

If it's a " soft inquiry " your fine. If not you'll get dinged

Generally, multiple pulls in a short timeframe for the same type of check (auto loans) will get bulked into one hit. A way they try not to have it hurt too much to shop around for the best deal.

Getting credit pulled does very Little to your credit score. If you pay bills on time you have zero worries

While we're on the topic, here's this colorful chart I found. No fucking clue how accurate it is.

I traded a Crosstrek for my Taco.

Good car, transmissions are completely terrible and they have zero power. AWD is superior to any other brand out there though.

That's pretty subjective. I own two newer subarus (2015 and 2016) and both have the CVT. I don't mind it one bit. My Legacy is pretty damn fun to drive actually.

I had a C-HR as a loaner and I'm not a fan of CVT. As you mentioned it's subjective.

Is that the toyota one? I've driven a Nissan Altima with the CVT and it sucked. Subaru seems to have refined it IMO

    Definitely subjective.
I rent a lot of cars and I don’t mind the CVTs. But because I drive them relatively slow.. sports cars/pickups Id probably hate it.

I think Subaru uses a chain, and not a band. Could be why it feels more refined?

Maybe! I've never done any digging into it. My wife has the 5 door impreza (essentially the crosstrek but lower to the ground) and we like it. I prefer my Legacy though as it's a lot more luxurious and sporty, and has a bigger engine.
