    Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.

    ...^^^... Me too. One of my heros is 99 year old Paul. Paul was an US Army Mustanger E-1 to E-8, then O-1 to O-5 and was in WW2, Korea and RVN.

    He did a few small battles in between. Paul's wife died 28 years ago and he started dating 97 y/o Margie (whos' husband died at the same time). That have met each other for the last 27 years for breakfast and dinner and are a super couple. Both of them still drive and live alone too. I saw Paul shuffling his grocery basket at Kroger today and this lady was very impatient behind him. I said hi to Paul and told the lady he was almost 100 next month and to give him a break.

    I always feel insignificant around him too, even with his easy duties as an O-5 in RVN. His stories about WW2 and Europe (and even RVN and Saigon) were captivating. He had stories about battles from hell in Europe and especially Korea and later drinking beer and having snacks on hotel roofs in Saigon on Friday aftternoons and watching firefights in the distance.
