True. Their current platform should last 10 years or so.

Fuck water crossings. Forever. Hit slabs last week with @Chux @planters15 and Ant. The whole ordeal woth Q was terrible and I wish none of that on anyone. Then today I got to start my truck up and the starter would not start my damn truck. After 4 times in and out with 2 different starters (rebuilt stock and advance auto parts special) I got one to work. What a PITA.

It’s a decentralized crypto currency (pretty much a virtual commodity) that can be sold/invested in or used to purchase things anonymously, but recently over the past month the price of 1 bitcoin jumped from around 6,000 dollars to 17,000. May or may not have bought in a little bit :D

    enough to have fun
A few of my comp sci friends cashed out and were able to pay for college with bitcoin. I don't have the time or graphics cards to mine, but one day maybe I'll build something to mine with for fun.

Is it volatile? HELLS YEAH! but nothing like a stock.. if you own stock/shares of a company that folds you may (unlikely) get a share of the liquid assets if sold and not taken by creditors but the stock itself is gone... if a cryptocurrency falls(very likely), it simply drops its value vs other currencies or vs demand (supply will never be an issue as there is a set cap for each type)

I got in WAY WAY late (9 days ago to this day lmao) and already made 70% and recover my trading fees

Agree with @V5ioV - All investments have their risks. And they have their rewards as well.

Do the diligence to know what market you are in, understand the risks and do what you can to mitigate the risks based on your risk tolerance.

Bitcoin is an investment like any other. If you acquired low and are now in (one of its many) peaks, then you may have made some money. If not, then you lost value.

Guess what. That’s exactly like the stock market.

A broad statement of “steer clear of bitcoin and invest in real stocks” is NOT sound financial advice.

This^^^ is a good example of a low(er) risk tolerance for a certain investment.

It shows that you are looking at your investment closely and adjusting according to your tolerance for loss.

    This is a good thing.

The beauty of cryptocurrencies is that at this point yp u can go in with an amount yoiu are comfortable losing if shit hits the fan but its so volite that the very same amount can go up 1000s% in a year and make lotta lute

ETH is almost 9000% up from last year today.

    ........................

@Blackout14 I'm not too sure how I feel about cryptocurrency itself being the future, the very same attractive volatility it's making it impractical ATM.... but "What I believe" is the future: is "blockchain" itself. Not just for currencies but for everything you mind can imagine..... it's going to be lime a digital DNA that can tell you info for alot of things.
