It was too dark and I was blocking traffic on the ramp so I couldn’t get pics unfortunately.
But I ended up hooking up to the front tension strut because that was the strongest thing I could reach.

Blizzard , all you need is a Taco with good tires and a little skill and you're good.

Yea, I'm finally able to test these Ridge Grapplers! You could hear the snow crunching as I came up the drive. My previous tires on my Tundra and 4Runner were the best I've had to date. Went with the Grapplers this time. Temps were nearly 17 - 19 degrees so the drive under the snow had that slick feel. But I did not slip once. I have the Sport so just put it in 4High. Didn't touch any other buttons. What really impressed me was how these tires cleared themselves. Unlike other brands I've tried in the past. Especially older versions of KO2s.

Here's the front tire in virgin snow.

It looks like groves are full but they are only less than half full.

Only snow I have up here at my cabin is on my driveway. Got some wood split then did some exploring here on the mountain. My dogs were splitting some wood too.

I went up the big boy drive tonight. Wanted to really test these tires. 4 LO this time. No slip at all. I'm sold.

    20171216_184811.jpg

You can't see the bottom if I stand at the very top.

    20171216_184824.jpg

That little light way down there is a reflector at the bottom.

Most guys would say it's not that steep but I've slid off in a 3/4 ton diesel quad cab long bed in 4" of snow. My Tundra too. One day I'll measure the angle.

Just very happy with the Grapplers. So for me, officially as good as Duratracs in the snow on my driveways.

I use it when I pull my boat out of the water. Ease off the brake and she crawls up the ramp

Yea, sorta like using the a/c in the winter to keep the O rings on the lines lubed.

And thanks to this forum, I learneed how to use it correctly. I was shifting into park but it kept beeping and flashing. Needed to be in neutral to go into 4 LO.

Needless to say, once activated, worked freaking perfectly.

I use AC a lot in the winter. Pulls out the humidity and keep the windows from fogging
