    Just sand the whole roof with 1000 wet sand, and reclear. If the paint is not to badly damaged it'll look good.

    I already had it open: I had to count the teeth on the ring and pinion to make sure it was the right gear ratio. Plus I'm swapping the ADD stub for a full manual hub tube eliminating the ADD - which requires opening the clamshell.

    I bought it used at a Junkyard from a 1996 4Runner Limited. Easily the greasiest and rustiest car part I've ever had the pleasure of handling.

    Drove my taco home from work. Got home at 5:00 pm... It's now 6 hours later.

    Upper and lower control arms... and everything else that comes with it... removed.

    Just me and my 17 year old son working on it. I'm pretty proud of our progress. :yes:

    No... just going SPC UCAs, changing the LCA bushings, and doing a little lift.

    The full photoshoot from the other day. Shot on-location in Lot A of CSUEB! People were looking at us like we were crazy while we were taking these pictures and posing the truck.

    When I did my uppers, I rented two kits from Autozone. For the tie rods and LBJ's I used the pitman puller. Use it all the time and it's only like $15-20.

    @BartMaster1234

    I used a ball joint press for the uppers that I rented it from Advanced Auto. Any auto parts store should have a couple ball joint press kits, one should be labeled as a 4x4 kit. It just comes with extra adaptors.

    I'd agree with @cynicalrider , pitman arm puller is a great tool. Used that for LBJ's, tie rods, and to separate the UCA from the upper ball joint after removing the castle nut. I always mangle rubber boots when I use a pickle fork.
