I don’t see a cotter pin. Other than that idk unless the left end is the steering stop and it’s installed on the wrong side?

Iv never touched a second gen so idk.

You got it! They put the left steering stop on the right and the right on the left. Now my rack is jacked... They also half assed the routing of the front diff actuator breather tube so it was rubbing on the ac compressor. Put a hole in it which let a lot of water in and fried the motor. (Luckily Amazon sells the dc motor) I know it was them because of all the zip ties used to resecure it. Their service has taken a turn. I’d trust them to give me an alignment though. That’s about it however. Since the frame replacement I keep finding little hidden gems. Too much to list...

Here are the holes on my bumper they “elongated” to get it to “fit”. Even though I can tell from measuring that they didn’t need to do that. They also stripped every mounting bolt in the process... now I have 4 of 6 bolts holding it on. Won’t be hard to plug and recut the holes. Just annoying that I have to fix it.

 

My wiring harness to the passemger side tailight was pinched when they put the bed back on then when they did the frame. They didn't tighten 2 of my bed bolts properly which led to a lot of slop and the bed bouncing around

Sounds like who ever did your frame didn’t give any fucks. That’s fucked up I would never be going there again.

 

Damn I'd go back and show them the work they did and demand a replacement rack and front diff...

 

This is my struggle and the more I hang out with you guys (+ lady) the harder it becomes to fight that urge.....but still so much owed on the truck

 

bouncy beds are annoying. I’ve had that problem before as well.

I sense it was rushed and the annoyance the person felt is lingering in the work done; I’m ready for the engine to fall of its mounts.

I’ve made a fuss, and they say there’s no way to prove it was them, and the things that are now broken as a result aren’t theirs either. I’m fine taking my money elsewhere for work I need done. If I had time I’d do everything myself, which I try to do anyway, but sometimes I don’t have that luxury.

I've considered listing my base Taco, but..... Besides the cost, I really really like that fact that this rides so nice and has no issues with the ride and suspension. It would really piss me off if I spent a lot of money and time fighting the dreaded vib and other issues many see after a lift. I've much enjoyed it since new for now 5+ years. Perhaps if I keep it until it needs to be towed to the crusher I'd do it before It really dies and use it for a mudder.
