A GT30 series equivalent would suit those demands well.

I finished the shock hoops today by adding additional braces to the uprights. The hoop is on the outside of the frame and the braces drop down to the inside of the frame. That adds a bit more rigidity to the whole setup. She's solid as a rock now.

And if you don't have a string level in your kit you need to add one. This five buck tool makes life easy.

I started assembling the transmission cross member mounts today as well. The large notch in the bottom is where the lower link mount ties in.

And it looks like I need a new flashlight. I dropped hot slag on this guy one too many times I guess.

The transmission cross member is nearly complete. I still need to fully weld everything out, but I think she's going to work. :D

    Passenger side frame mount.

Holes drilled and bolted up, time for the driver side.

    Photo Dec 18, 2 28 25 PM.jpg
Here's a better shot that shows the method to my madness. This cross member follows the same concept as the factory one, but is about 10" further back. The driver side is just mocked up at this point.

And done! Well, I have some welding to do, but she holds herself up now. :D

    Go for it.

Though if you don't have dual cases you won't be able to run a flat tube all the way across.
