Looks to me like somebody is installing an amplifier, I see a length of 9 wire conductor,

110kV Line single phase. that transformer is quite unique - 1 primary winding, 8 secondary windings and 3 tertiary windings. Custom built in the 70's for a transit system.

 

Not a Tacoma but had my wife’s shrockworks rear bumper installed. Super sneaky camera installed as well. Hopefully, she won’t take out anything when backing up now

3/1 RC leveling kit it’s not too bad after u break it in.

 

Well, this was a slippery slope, lol. Started with doing the Subaru/Kicker tweeter upgrade, which soon led to replacing the door speakers with Kicker CS's... that was a significant improvement, and for the record I was content with that setup... but then I stumbled across a good deal on a Rockford Fosgate P400X4, and thought what the hell.

Mounted behind the rear drivers side seat (double cab); originally planned on putting it under the front passenger seat, but the amp was too tall. Not the cleanest or fanciest install, but it works. Wired it in using 9 conductor wire spliced/soldered into the factory harness behind the radio (x2, 1 from radio into RCA cables to amp, then amp back to speakers).

 

Does anyone know where i can get locking covers for the storage compartments in the bed? I hate that I can't lock them, makes them useless i think.

 

I think Mobtown off-road has them. I'm sure other places do as well.

I myself did the DIY it only took a trip to my local hardware store for the locks.

 

This happened this week. Finally got the C4 Fab Lo-Pro bumper, Baja Design light bar, and Smittybilt winch installed. Just need to adjust the Icon suspension a bit to compensate for the extra weight.

 

That's the one I like but I just can't cut my new truck...lol

 

I think the cutting part is the most stressful part of the mod!

 

I have CH4X4 push switches (4 in all). My switch for the bull bar lights was sluggish/sticking and my scoop light switch was fine. They sent me a replacement switch and it works just fine, however, now my scoop switch is sluggish/sticking. Has any one else had a switch with this problem? If so, how did you resolve it, short of getting another one?

Added crossbars from voodoo. Holy crap are these overkill for my soon to be complete bike rack. They are 10x better than expected.

 

Technically over the last few days but I finally finished installing the G4 Elite Fold A Cover and replaced the tweeters.
