So many types of tablesaws out there.

    Basically categorized as:
    Contractor
    Hybrid
    Cabinet

Decision is usually made based on your intended use.

    Portable job site?
Stays permanently in a workshop for accurate/precise woodworking cuts and joints?
Capacity? Are you cutting large sheets of plywood and need to bring the sheet across the entire table?
    240 vs. 120v?

I have owned my Delta Hybrid for about 16 years now and I love it. It replaced a Ryobi Contractor type saw.
It has more capacity, better cut accuracy/precision, ability to build jigs, modified fences and throat plates around it.
But it takes up a lot of space in the garage and it is heavy AF. Because of this, and the fact that I've been moving away from woodworking and have gotten ass deep in truck modding, I'm considering replacing it with a high quality contractor type saw.

Here's good info . This is the store where where I actually purchased my saw 16+ years ago.

Maybe the corded Dewalt 10” compact with the rolling stand will work for you.

A little over 32” of rip capacity is better than the cordless 24” capacity.

I’ve always lusted after Dewalt ‘s rack and pinion telescoping fence. Not quite sure how accurate/precise these Dewalt compact saws are, coz no real world experience from me.
Maybe someone with experience can chime in.

Of course, the 10” blade has better bevel capacity than the 8 -1/2” blade of the cordless.

I would get the 8.5” cordless for myself, because I have the large capacity Delta Hybrid that will complement each other. And because it’s cool.

The Dewalt compact saw has a 16" rip cacapacity. The jobsite model with stand has 32" rip. It is a solid saw. I own both. Ripping sheet good on the compact saw will suck. Even on the larger saw it is a huge PITA. Want to rip sheet goods the easy way? Get a track saw.

Moog cam bolts are fine. Unfortunately the cam washers (that set/hold your alignment) are made of zinc, so they round out and become useless the first.time a shop monkey touches your truck.

You know that Sprint wireless commercial? "Why pay twice as much for Verizon, only for 1% more coverage?".

Because that last 1% costs as much as the first 90%. Same thing with out trucks, we're working real hard for some very marginal gains.

Also, my new leaf pack showed up today :)

The Panda Special from ATS. It was that or a full custom 12 leaf pack. I need something like 1000# of weight capacity in the back with my tent+rack.

Armor, bumpers, 33s and an OME kit would do it though.

But where's the fun in that?

    Probably not a bad idea.

I'll bet a stock size poly bushing will fit too. Or a Delrin custom bushing.
