    Can an 89 SRE 4x4 manual trans tow a 1300 boat and trailer to Cabo San Lucas from Southern California? How about over sandy baja beaches for beach launching the boat?

    Should work fine. I'd carry a compressor or tank of air so I could lower the air pressure in the tires over the soft beach sand and still be able to air it up when finished.
