    I had a little ping and these plugs took it away until I got the 2" pulley and pinged like hell above 4 pounds of boost so added the methonal and all is good, zero ping at 10 pounds of boost

    Methanol kit is way out of my price range.
    I don't make allot and child support takes half. Lol

    I'll definitely order plugs. What gap is recommended for these hotrods.

    The methonal is only because I wanted a 2" pulley, before I was running 2.1 pulley and these plugs helped push down the little ping I had,
    Yea been there, done that, just finished that bullshit road,
    how did you get away with only 500 a month. :)))))) Mine was 1000

    The 1st gen are much more fun because the 3.4 with a supercharger, the early models had NO POWER.
    I had one too, so much happier with what I have now for an older truck, :)

    Got out my big light. Took out the old plug from number 3 where the misfire code lives,and put in an old plug (as a tester). I'll run it for a few minutes and leave it till tomorrow night and see if it starts as 5 cylinder or 6.
    Old plug look fine to me. What do u think.

    Actually looks ok, switch plugs from another cylinder and see if the miss fire goes to the other cylinder,
    Take a magnifying glass to see if there is a hairline crack somewhere in the porcelain

    Fuel is not a lubercant and should not be used as such. wheel bearing grease will work but it's the last thing id use. spray silicone is the best option.

    Use electrolyte grease on all the plugs also just in case there is Carbon tracking.

    Truck started on 6 cylinders like it should this morning.
    Apparently one of my new plugs was bad.

    All new plugs ,wires, coils, injectors, fule filter, cleaned out the throttle body and the Super charger and cleaned the MAF sensor, cleaned as many grounding points I could find
    Runs so much better now. Nice and smooth no more stumbling.

    Not really a supercharger rebuild question but it relates to the 3.4l blower so I'll ask it here...

    Have any of you guys cleaned your throttle body by removing it? Is there a gasket that needs to be replaced/reapplied where the TB and supercharger intake meet when reattaching the TB?

    My throttle body is filthy and needs to be cleaned but I read on the bottle of the cleaner I bought that it is NOT to be used on engines with superchargers; I assume that's for people that clean the TB while it's still attached to the supercharger (that's the way the bottle suggests doing it). I want to remove it and clean it thoroughly, then bolt it back on but it looks like there might be a gasket that needs to be replaced if I do.

    You have to take it off completely to clean it correctly and there is an "0" gasket that probably will need replacing that is a Trd gasket NOT a "D" oem gasket

    Found the part # online, PTR2960030....anywhere from $35 - $50 depending on where I order it from, that gasket ain't cheap lol.
