Hey, first of all, how's everyone doing tonight?

Like the title says, been lurking and figured why not join. Little about me is that I don't have a Taco yet, but plan on it, figure I'd trade my two cars for one and go from there.

Hope to be active here, glad to be here and plan to use the search bar before I ask inane questions.

Welcome! Don’t worry about any inane questions, and pay no attention if anyone gets on you about using the search bar. There’s probably someone that will, but they also probably won’t have Moderator by their name(although they like to act like they do), so fuck ‘em. :D

Hope you find a great deal on a Taco, good luck buddy.

Thanks, and sometimes, you just gotta ask right?

I plan on getting a TRD OR Manual. Drove an AC Manual Sport and loved it, though I had to get use to the brakes. Catch point to me was similar to my Audi and I figure, since I work for the family demo company, I could load the bed with some supplies, rather than throw them in the trunk of either of my two cars

Real question though is what color to get, between Inferno, Barcelona and White...

Between those choices, I like the white. It looks awesome on Tacoma’s. Especially with black rims. I have 3 neighbors with Inferno’s and I’M already tired of seeing them. It’s one of those colors that after 3 months, you’re like, done!!

The blue shoes dirt just as easy as black does. I’ve had 2 blue trucks and never will own a 3rd. White, Grey and Silver are great colors on trucks. I have Magnetic Grey and I love it.

I’m glad I got the AT vs. MT. I haven’t had a single issue with mine. I’m running 33” tires and my truck runs great. And I’m coming from an 2016 F-150 with a 3.5 twin turbo Ecoboost engine. MT are fun, but pain in the ass. Especially in traffic. Just something else you’ll have to eventually have to pay for when you need a new clutch. And resale/trade in value will be about 1,500.00-2,000.00 less when you trade in.

I LOVE my truck. I put a TRD Pro Grille on it. Looks awesome!

Yeah, looks sick with that Grille, I was thinking this http://puretacoma.com/grille-insert...ert-trd-style-with-led-night-glow-p-6985.html or doing a Raptor-style PRO

Yeah, tons there and though it's a pain, don't mind traffic with Manual, especially since I'll take my Audi into Brooklyn and Manhattan at times (Mod list on the Audi: JHM St2 w/HPFP, JHM HFC+B7 S4 FI Catback, JHM St1 Clutch/Flywheel, S4 Recaros, JHM Shift-Trio+Cross Rod, Bi-xenon Headlights, JOM Smoked Tail Lights, Enkei PF01, Conti DWS, Solo-werks S1 Coilovers)

You one of the Tri-state Refugee's or a native of NorCar btw?

I’m originally from Kentucky. I was moved down to North Carolina to class the place up a bit. :p:rofl:
