I was happy when I took my juke to carmax. The dealer offered me $250 less than carmax but the trade in credit made it worth it.

Carmax should be compared to dealer trade in amount plus tax credit.

 

Yeah looks a little bit bluer on the color scale. It's harder to paint match white than you might think.

My front bumper was painted aftermarket (utility package comes unpainted) by a guy I know back in PA who really knows his shit and does frame off restorations on classics and insane jobs on exotics and whatnot.



You can see my bumper is just a hair yellower if you look at the seam to the fender. He had actually brought out a paint scanner to perfectly match the hue and matched off the painted part that goes around the grille. Interestingly enough if you look at the bumper to grille surround transition it's perfect, bumper to fender not so much. It's also a bitch to color match across substrates- plastic and metal want to take colors (and even textures) differently.

 

Anyone else coming out?

 

Holy shit, I fit the truck in the garage.

The guy who installed my garage flaked on me twice this week to move the hinge over out of the way of the bumper. After talking to a guy yesterday I said, fuck it I'll just remove the hinge all together. 1/2 inch neoprene rubber sheet in the back for safety and I lucked out with the 2x4's being a perfect stopper. Also added 1/4 inch neoprene rubber in the front just in case.

 

Well if no one else is going I'll pass also.

 

Anyone know of a good paint shop? Some mother fucker decided to key my truck up.

 

Anyone with an ARB and switchpro? I'm wondering if I can use the ARB connector specific for the switch pro on one if the 15amp buttons. I was thinking since it is just on/off it should be fine with the 15amp.

 

Not the first person I've heard this from. Contact the post office they're on the hunt for the postal workers / theifs. They live in the east mesa area also. The envelope was cut open on the edges and taped shut and stamped damaged in Phoenix. Go to USPS.org and file a complaint. She got 6 of her 9 gift cards
returned and the $100 cash.

 

Happens all the time. I don't ship anything worth of value with USPS.

We're, my wife and I...well more like me would like some thoughts about your state. I know I can search it but I would believe you guys more than the search.
We need to get out of north east PA! I'll turn 60 this coming summer and my wife isn't
that far behind me. I am sick of tired of single digit temps and snow! We've been here all of our lives, it's time to move!
Looking at Kingman and Fort Mohave or anywhere around that area.
