We’ve got two labs, one chocolate and one yellow. I was too young to remember raising and training the chocolate but I did most of the training of our yellow since she’s more or less mine.

    Neither are crate trained either.

Our yellow was a big time chewer. We used the sour apple spray on everything. Depending on what it was and how much she chewed it, I’d have to spray it on something in front of her, then give her a tiny spray of it so she knew what it was and that it wasn’t pleasant.

Swapped my billys and superflex springs for LC 8 wraps and 4th gen fox shocks. I gained about 1 1/2" of lift. I'll take it offroad tomorrow to test it out.

For all you SoCal and Nevada people...

I am trying to plan a trip to/around Death Valley/Mojave area next week. Any suggestions? Mostly looking at camping, no cabins or hotels or anything.

    Thanks!

If you get to the area and it’s late and don’t want to go into the valley just yet camp in lone pine at the Alabama hills. It’s a real cool area to camp. They film a lot there like the Jericho scene from iron man and there is a famous dinosaur painted on a rock can’t remember her name at the moment.

Edit you are coming from the other side my bad.
Still Alabama hills is a cool area just outside of Death Valley we always spend a night there either before or after

Funny you should mention that. I was sorta thinking about that place. Looks like a cool place to check out too! Thanks!

That would be great. I will have a stock f150 so not looking to get lost in the hills!

Everything is going pretty well so far. Went to Pismo, drove the Pacific Coast Highway, then did Mojave Road, Death Valley, and Alabama Hills. Just got to our hotel for the night near the Grand canyon, it's nice to have a shower once in awhile...

Only issue is the starter on the truck might be going out. I picked up a cheap duralast one in case it does and I need to change it somewhere along the road. Hoping I don't have to and I can make it home to get a denso one and replace the aftermarket one the previous owner put in before I got the truck.

I'll post a trip report with lots of pictures for anyone who cares just like I did for Moab and Colorado.

    Like but dislike.

Debating putting some tundra wheels on my 99 or just going SCS. Really hate spacers but they do look good.

Yeah I miss these wheels sometimes but I love my scs. I like the deep dish look the F5s have. I'm a douche and kept my spacers anyway because stance.

Alright there bud, I thought we were friends. What do you think the 2" spacers are for? I'm trying to be cool like you.

Are you really running 2” spacers up front? I’m only running 0.75”

Yes dude haha and the rear. This damn limited trim is so wide I hate when the tires aren't flush. It looks silly as hell. Once I jump to 35s I'm getting smaller spacers.

Yeah its a love hate relationship. Love the way they look but hate that they rattle and require me to use spacers haha
