use an awl, knife, or hook tool on the nubben part to pry the plastic piece out.

used a grinder to remove some aluminum around the post and she fit like a dream.

with the bumper off i also got to reinstall one of the two screws attaching the solenoid to my winch - and - reinstall the plastic trim piece below the passenger side headlight for the third time.

three jobs done with the bumper off!

    thanks @Iggy :headbang:

Jusy want to compliment Iggy. My lights (4 pods) are just over a year old. Had one small issue and he took care of it no questions or hassle. Lights workin great and light up the sky. When my new bumper comes I'll be purchasing a bar as well!

What's the yellow wire for on the 9" round lights for? On the harness I have a yellow wire on the Deutsch connector. Not sure what it's for as there is already a positive and negative

It’s the positive wire for the backlight.

Back light? Like a halo sort of thing on them? Should that get constant 12v or be tied into the switch as well?

Any picture of it just not sure I even want a back light

It’s more like a running light. You can tie in to what ever you want, like a DRL, head lights, parking lights etc. If you look at the light there are some semi transparent white sections on the light. Those have a white glow.
